COMMON GROUND COLLECTIVE SHIRT
Our friends at Common Ground Collective have printed a new shirt and we are selling them! Their logo is on the front (captain planet style), and their backyard harvest slogan is printed on the back (ninja turtle style).
All proceeds go to Common Ground Collective to support their programs on Maui. This ranges from supporting community food hubs to buying supplies for their backyard harvests.
We could gush at length about this organization. They were instrumental in the hot food set up at UHMC and supplying hubs with relief supplies in the aftermath of the Maui Fires. More needs to be said about what they have done.
We think that their approach to helping create food security is unique - harvest the fruit trees and cycle back the fruit into the community. Our grandparents told us not to waste and shared their bounties with neighbors and friends. CGC is helping to facilitate this on a larger scale with manpower and a community network.
They also have a community garden in Haiku. Produce harvested from here is also donated to various community organizations.
They have many more projects like this that they would like to get off the ground and we would like to help them!
